Institutional Information

The RRI Coalition is formed by a group of core Partners who work in areas of their regional and thematic expertise. They also engage with over 150 local Collaborators who participate in and support RRI activities.

Our Partner and Collaborator organizations are directly engaged in land and forest policy reforms in close to 20 countries throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Together, we work to encourage greater global commitment and action towards policy, market, and legal reforms that secure the rights of Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant Peoples, and local communities to own, control, and benefit from natural resources, especially land and forests. Independent Monitoring and Evaluation

As part of our governance and coordination, an Independent Monitor conducts the annual independent evaluation of the RRI program. The Independent Monitor is responsible for monitoring all RRI activities and providing recommendations for adjustments in the strategic approach and/or Coalition functioning. Annual reports from RRI’s Independent Monitor can be accessed below:

An independent midterm evaluation of RRI activities and impacts is conducted for every strategic plan of RRI. Past evaluations are accessible below:
